What rays for a new 102"x32"x28"high?

Hi guys after scaring myself to death reading a book about rays and opting not to get them,after a few chats on here ive decided to look at the possibility again,ive had a quick look at the stickys and it seems like hystrix,retics,scobina and constellata may be ok unless i missed something but as the title says this will be my new tank for life soon and the stock will be as in my signature plus a tig and probably the endlis out of the growout tank,so what do you guys recommend?

Hard to advise if you don't say how much money you want to spend. I would do a nice pair of marbles or pearls. If money is an issue then a nice pair of motoros. Actually I would do a trio.
 
Like fishdog said...trio of marbles or just about whatever rays you want with that footprint...at least for quite a while depending on the size. You may have to alter the combination of tank mates though. But if you're just starting with rays, want something hardy and relatively reasonable, I'd go with marble motoros.
 
Hi Hows the Gar going?

Try Wharf as they had a really nice marble male in (not sure if he is still there). You could then find him a female and in that tank they would be fine for a good while.
 
Thanks for the replies,hi nikki,the gar is still 9" and looks exactly the same as last year,hows yours?
The tank will be the biggest i can get so whatever i put in will be in for life,i thought the motoros got far too big for 32"?
Kolossus,what tankmates would i have to alter?
Vamptrev,that ray in your avatar looks nice.
How much more are the blacks,marbles and pearls than normal ones?

Sorry if these are stupid questions,but if in doubt ask as ive always been told.
