I could be sarcastic and say it's a wet piranha....but, you obviously knew that.....otherwise, he'd be a dead piranha....and that would be bad.....

I went back to the LFS and he said he doesn't know where it was collected but it came in as a Xingu. I was also gonna buy the 6" Mannie he had in but it was sold the day before.

So I would just guess xingu till I could prove otherwise...not that really matters as long as he's happy and healthy!!

if it was actually imported as an xingu and collected in rio xingu then it is a brazilian piranha

it's nice to know what label they have....just in case there's any species-specific problems, or in your case, collection-area.
