I'm thinking about making my garage into a fish room, but the lawnmowers and yard tools are turning me off. Where do you all keep your fish.

Garage and bedroom for me. Tools are kept in shed to avoid accidents, etc.

I wish that I had a shed. My neighborhood only lets you put up an expensive shed.

Your poll isn't multiple choice. Oh well. I'll pick last option I guess. Why does the shed have to be expensive?

I never understood keeping aquariums in a garage, unless its been finished off like just another room in the house.

IMO aquariums are good for just about one thing: zoning out all comfy like in front of it.

They have covenant/restrictions in the neighborhood. Only fancy brick sheds etc. I blame it on the man!

I agree. I currently have an unused bedroom that I'm using for all of my tanks, but I have one 125 gallon in my bedroom and I have a 180 gallon that I need to put somewhere as well. I was thinking that it might be nice to combine most of them into the garage, but I'm with you on the garage thing.

I have 2 in the bedroom and 2 in the living room.

I'm about to add one more to the living room and one in the kitchen.

I have a very small condo though, once I get a house they'll all go in a Den or Family Room or some extra room.

I'll still keep one for my bedroom and likely one in the main living room but I'd prefer to have one room just for tanks and supplies.
