i like that zoo sand. kinda pricey but maybe mix a few pounds with some pfs and get somethin in between

i called and emailed zoo sand and still have not gotten a response from them so i went with play sand(dont trust a company that doesn,t answer the phone or emails)i was surprised that the play sand rinsed so easly only to me about 45 minutes to rinse the whole bag,and it was only a little cloudy when i first put it in the tank,after the filters were running for about an hour you could hardly tell i just changed it to sand. And my geos absolutely love it,and so does my plecos they play in it all day.
home depot play sand 1 hour after being changed(rinsed really well of course)

I tried both play sand was very dirty, pool sand was very clean i use pool sand in all my tanks. The sand looks like a tan colour when dry but looks white in the water.
Just to add to this...
I went with a blasting sand in my tank that my lfs carries. There are pictures of the bag on page 2 on my 125gallon tank thread in my signature. I like it because it's heavy and clean, and looks great.
