What Sex Is My Jag?

As title im quite certain i know what sex it is but i want other peoples opinons.

When i was looking to buy it from a shop i was quite certain it was a Female but the shop staff were 100% certain its a Male!

i want to say thats a not very spotted male. Has a more slender shape and purple on the body where as my female has no purple at all. Edit and also fat and rounded (the female)

That's a male...a very light male. The colors aside the head shape gives it away. Nice looking fish. Looks to be in good shape.

Thanks for all the replys but this is hard as alot of people on another forum are saying Female .

So has anyone else got any opinions.

Lol ive got the same thread on OscarFishLover Forum and one of the mods on their is meant to be the Jag 'expert' and hes saying defo Female.

I thought Female at first but then the Shop said its defo a Male and as ive said im not a Jag expert as this is my first one.

Ive just read on a few forums on how to sex them and alot say all splodges tend to be Male but i know this idea isnt 100% and every Cichlid varies abit.
