What should i breed?!?!?!?!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
i have a free 18 gallon and 10 gallon tank.

u could devide the 10 and have a pair of cons on each side make sure u hav an idea if the female is getting beat up. thats a little overstocked but if ur breeding for money.....

u could put a trio of yellow lab cichlids or colbalt blue cichlids in the 18. thos would get u alot of money if u breeding in indiana!!!!!!

i would say oscars or cichlids.... on guys oscars had 300 fry....

you need to setup the 10 gallon as a small fry tank. the 18 should be used for the breeding pair(s), depending upon what you breed. you may do well by breeding things that work for feeders. live black worms, blood worms, cherry shrimp or other feeders that are in demand may be profitable. not sure what the lfs would need in your area, but you do not have an extensive setup to breed exotic fish.

you can talk to the expert, lupin, but snails repoduce and grow like crazy!!!!!! even though they are not high dollar, it would take no time to have fistfuls of snails

why does everyone keep on suggesting convicts? is there something special about them that i dont know?
im going to talk to my friend who owns a lfs so ill have a better idea of wat is in damand later tonight.

because they breed all the time, theyre cheap, theyre small, and they raise the fry very well.
which is why they are almost always readily available to lfs and they wont pay much for them
