Most of us who have been in this hobby for any length of time have gone through this phase, man... sometimes more than once! I wouldn't sweat it. Heck, to a lesser degree, I'm going through it now. I have shuffled through a few fish recently, trying to find that... "perfect" feel. I'm almost there though. The only thing really left for me to do, is find a friggin' female festae that is at least 4 inches!Since the death of my old jag and jack dempsey a few years ago i have cycled through fish trying to find my place. I have no problems and my fish are working right now. I'm only selling the aro because i know i wont upgrade from the 75 and 150 quick enough for him. Im selling the festae because i would rather have a pair over just one of them. I have other tanks that havent changed for a few years

Just know if you go trimac, you need to do it solo, or a divider with an female you can let him get with when she is in the mood (if she's not in the mood, you'll need the divider, because he would otherwise surely kill her). Unless someone else has had another experience, every mautre trimac I have ever heard is a killer. A beautiful killer... but a killer nonetheless. The only reason I don't have a trimac is because I don't have any tanks I'm willing to dedicate to just one fish. But I do think they look incredible. I'm sure you'll not be able to keep it with anything else. But hey... nothing wrong with a wet pet in my book!I'm gonna but festaes i think but i also thought about maybe buying a black nasty woth the festaes or a trimac
