What Should I Do With My Tank?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Here's a little update with what I plan on doing with my tank...

I recently removed all sand and put down a thin layer of gravel. I then put my huge piece of driftwood on a side of the tank, leaving most of the tank space open. I then purchased about 50 pounds of rock and put them down randomly, as well as putting the old rock decorations I used to have in there as well. There is quite a bit of rock in there now, but it's looking pretty cool.

As far as stocking the tank, I've decided to go with a wildcaught Lake Tanganyika tank. Here is the stock that I've ordered:
(6) Tropheus Brichardi
(3) Tropheus Lupota
(8) Tropheus Ndole
(6) Paracyprichromis Nigripinnis

I think it will look pretty sweet when it's done.

Now we are talking.
I would scratch the Brichardi cause they are considered the most aggressive out of all the Tropheus.
To think that I hate african tanks but you just reminded me of my old "blue neons" that I had a long time ago.
Personally though I would stick with a tank of about 20 blue neons. Very personable fish.
Either way you go I think that your tank will look great.

aww man too bad you ordered them already imo it would look cooler with some datnoids, p bass, loaches and aro in their along with some hardy plants good luck with your setup though
