Why do they sell these shark catfish? Who has a tank large enough for these? I guess they are called Pangasids or Paroon sharks. I got these with a tank that I bought but they started eating the shrimp for the Aro and every other kind of food that I put in the tank including algae wafers for the Plecs. Maybe it's just me but I don't want some insatiable catfish with a balloon belly taking over my tank. Heres the beast! I got 2 of these.

Plus aros don't get nearly as big as these guys!

Those aren't paroon sharks. They're irridescent sharks (Pangasius hypophthalmus). And, while they don't grow as large as paroons, they'll still outsize a silver aro by a few inches when they reach their adult size of 51".
