I have to agree with the others. Keep your opinions and advice to yourself or save it for those who are willing to listen with an open mind. It sounds as though he is playing games with you when he asks if he can keep a FW Stingray in a bowl. He can't be serious. Almost as if he gets a rise out of seeing you get all hyped up. Don't feed his ego any longer and let him and his mom (who no doubt is paying for his hobby) flush thier hard earned money down the toilet.

I find often that too much info exchanged verbally usually leads to bad things with it being the provider's fault. Even if the original info is spot on. Unfortunate for the fish but he's decided to learn through trial and error instead of research. Like the old saying goes, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink."

hey buddy it's cool to see that your trying to help your friend but he's not taking your advice so let him learn the hard way and he ask's you to help you then tell him you dont know but and ask him to tell you about it when he find's out that way you'll make him learn and feel like he taught you something and it's a win - win and it wont effect your friendship... trust me! im pretty sure every body would agree with me on the issue!!!

but the fw atlantic stingrays are perfectly legal
when i move out i may get a couple
