Well, the 120g is almost ready to be set-up, but there's still a few things I need to figure out: Stocking and Decor. I had a couple ideas, so I thought I'd let you guys pick.

Option 1: Miscellaneous oddball tank. Polys, knives, maybe a SAL, etc... Would be decorated with some driftwood, maybe some plants, and a substrate of sand.

Option 2: Stingray grow-out tank. Holding a couple of retics or a motoro for a few months, until I build a bigger tank. There would be no decor or substrate.

Option 3: U.S. native tank, focusing on a centerpiece bowfin. Would be decorated like a typical U.S. environment, with driftwood, gravel, rocks.

Option 4: This is my creative idea. A tank with an all-black background, black sand/gravel, black decor, and the stand, which is also black. The fish are the piece de resistance; about 20-40 albino senegal bichirs!

Option 5: Other. Any suggestions you have, with some exceptions: No fish under around 5-6" adult size, and no all cichlid tanks.

Thanks!

Bowfin

I say option 4, but why just sens? The dark colors will really bring out the stripes etc in delhezi's and any other bichir species.

It seems to be a close race so far!

I thought about it, but a) I kinda wanted albinos, and sens are ppretty much the only albino polys available, and b) they're cheap. I don't know. Maybe you guys can change my mind.

A bowfin can reach almost the legnth of that tank and weigh upto 20+ lbs.

I like the odd ball idea - clowns would be too big though

Albino bichirs is cool but 20-40 whoa! maybe like 10-15.

Maybe single Fahaka.

I am not in America so i can't comment to a point that is.

Go with your guts, I have been in the same boat and i am sure many others have too.
It's your money and your Tank, All options seem fine so go with what you REALLY want.

Use u-Tube, sometimes it's useful as you can see your fish that you are thinking off.

To get opinions is one thing to decide is another.

Good Luck
