I don't think I can answer without knowing the purpose. Did you want to get rid of your del to get another nicer looking del? Different attitude/aggressiveness? Is there anything wrong with it? or just thinking of swapping?

I still don't understand the post, you wouldn't have to wait a year for it to grow to 5".

a 3" delhezi will grow to 5" in two months or less. It's not common to find one smaller than that.
