What should I feed my figure 8 puffer?

Hello! I was wondering what everyone's opinions were on what to feed my figure 8? Thanks!

Mussels, shrimp, cut up fish, bloodworms etc.

What kno4te said and you can raise small live Snails for them to eat like Ramshorn. The Mussels, Snails, hard shell of Shrimp will help keep their beak trimmed.

Where would I get those? I'm feeding bloodworms right now but I want to feed other things too.

Mussels , Shrimp, and fresh fish can be purchased at your neighborhood grocery store or a fish market.

Only purchase uncooked Shrimp, or Mussel.

as stated above i do suggest to start a small snail colonie, they go nuts on those guys. imo ramshorn snails are a good option.

I also feed frozen krill, mysid shrimp, and earth worms.

How big of a tank do you need for a snail colony? And what type of snails for 8 figures? You can just feed snail algae wafers right

You can grow snails in 5 gallons. Algae wafers, cucumbers, live plants all are good foods.
Pond and rams horn snails are best.
