I saw a vid of someone feeding 2 large pbass....now I told the wife I want to get a 300 gallon acrylic just to put 2-4 pbass in there....she thinks I'm NUTS

Get a Clown Knife, they come in gold and royal too. They have the best personalities. Or you could go with an oscar, they have A LOT of personality. My compressiceps is a trip too, only had that one 4 days and he already likes to wait for play time. A brackish puffer would be cool. A school of bichir?

Is this tank going to just be a grow out or permanent?
If its a perm tank I wouldnt get p-bass.

I'd do a whole bunch of bichers and dats.

Do Like Asians, but over here they still cost silly money.
I have had rays before, but the tank allways looked empty with just rays until feeding time anyway when they climbed.

Not sure of the pacu, Had one a long time ago - that was just aggressive and looked dull.

That and the tank is too small for a Pacu
