I'd get a nice rhom, a big one, 10+ inches (if you can find it), and it'll be costly.

had one in my other smaller tank it was boring then got brain damage from jumping out so often. the tank is 24 high he never came off the bottom, i want big and bold and preferably visible

Thats odd, mine stays on the bottom except when I'm near the tank then he's out and about.. works out great.

What about some barracuda or something.

thought cudas would find 4ft too short though it is going to have almost 100% swimming space

Maybe.. I heard some top out at 8-10" but I dunno how true that is. Hujeta's would work.

thought hujetas are surface to midwater id prefer something that is 90% midwater. Very tempted to grow out a solitary pbass for the colour ive seen some peoples, dmack hint!
