Thanks for the input. I'm now thinking that I'm gonna probably go with tiger barbs just for the fact that the behavior is similar to the buck tooth tetra, and that I can have different types of barbs all together for lots of color. Having all of one thing isn't really my style.

Well decided to go a whole new direction actually. My girlfriend has ddecided we have too many freshwater tanks lol. Looks like this one has to be saltwater before I'm allowed another freshwater . So it's gonna be clown fish and shrimp and eventually some soft corals it's a slow going process mostly in the research phase right now don't even have the salt yet . Will post pics eventually.
