what should i put in a 20 gal high?

I have a spare 20 gal. laying around and i was wondering what fish i should put in it..any suggestions?

Any of the smaller growing peaceful cichlids. For example herotilapia multispinosa (rainbow cichlid), Apistogrammas, Ramirezi, etc. as well as a wide choice of community fish which are compatible with these cichlids. i'd stay away from convicts etc.

I'd stay away from most every cichlid in a 20 high...

i would imagine just comunity fish that all get along with eachother..

Make it a planted tank and add some nice rams and/or Apisto cichlids

I'd rather go with an active fish like rainbow cichlids or one of the small acaras (like Krobia sp.) instead of the shellies which are limited to the bottom of the tank

yeah im thinking more of a south american species so that i could at some tetras of some sort...

why not apistos they look great and only grow a couple inches.
