i decided my bedroom was too dry with the furnace running so i picked up a 75 to setup as freshwater to help keep my air nice and moist.

right now its a bare bottom with a pair of marineland emporer 400 hob's i have the ability to upgrade tank size for the fish if i decide on something that grows too large for a 75. i havent been around for a while but i have had plenty of experience and i used to have a 1200 gallon pond in my basement.

so tell me what you think i should stock. i have been thinking either 3 silver aro's, or 3-4 florida gar, possibly 3 oscars or other large sa/ca cichlids, an actinic heavy frontosa tank, or possibly a mixture like a marbled motoro a poly a dat and a payara. shoot me some of your thoughts as im still up in the air. the tank currently has 50 feeders in it to cycle the tank, so i have a couple weeks to decide what to put in.

I've always thought a large tank of exodons would be cool.

Get something that won't outgrow the tank, if you want big fish, get a big tank first...

I'd say a sole cichlid with some smaller fish as dithers..
(Ex.)- Amphilophus specie, Vieja Specie, or even some cooler oscars like "Bumblebee Oscars", and then ass some Clown Loaches, or Silver Dollars.

I guess I don't understand why you would spend the money on a new 75g or waste the time setting it all up then if you know you're just going to stock it with something that will easily outgrow the tank within 6 months.

Anyhow, if you just stick with the 75g though, in a bedroom, I'd probably do a single Oscar and some SD or Filament Barbs for a dither school. O are great and he'd be like your bedroom buddy. :P
