What silicones are available at hardware stores that are fish safe???

oh another thought i'm sure you'll want to use a caulk gun and the ge you'll be wore out using a squeeze tube
 
black silicone does make a nice looking tank make sure and run some painters tape( the blue kind) on both sides of you seam however wide you want it to be smooth the seam with your finger and remove tape immediately makes a nice clean seam

Thats a good idea, and yea a caulk gun is a necessity, of course walmart only had ge 2 so Ill have to try homedepot or ACE for ge I
