I got a group of marlieri, no clue what locale but they look kinda like bembas (just based on similarity in tail pattern). The group ranges from about 1-2", with the two biggest ones having taken over the rock pile. Are they big enough to breed already?

I wouldn’t think so mate. Their adult size would be closer to 4-5”. I have seen a pair with fry around 3-3.5”

That's what I figured, they seemed kinda small to be acting like that but I know some localities are naturally smaller so I just wanted to see.

At 1–2 inches they’re probably still a bit young to breed. Usually marlieri start showing real breeding behavior once they hit around 3–4 inches, depending on diet and tank conditions. You might already be seeing some early territorial behavior though, which is a good sign!
