yea, I can see it a tiny bit on the lower gill plate...Yeah, he would make a nice sandwich......

I think I can see some spotting on the gill plate of the larger one, but the smaller one is about 1/4" shorter and harder to tell, hopefully they are a pairFrank when I picked mine up at the 2.5 ish range I managed to sight pick a female. She already had more red color in her cheek and completely lacked the spots I was familiar with from the male I had before. Around 4 inches I was sure it was a female, her color and attitude really started to pop. Not sure if there is a correlation between their dominance/confidence and the colors they exhibit.
