Just curious at everyone's opinion cause I'd be reading different sizes so I would like to hear everyones opinon. What size would you consider a monster fish?anything after????? Inches/feet?

id say its the kind of fish not really the size. you can have a 3" pacu or something like that and eventually it will be a monster.

I'd say yes, but not always. I had a feeder gold fish that never got eaten. I figured he earned a 2nd chance and he got to be 7" in length. Not a monster by type or size, but I considered him an honorary monster due to his size for his type. A true monster could have swallowed him whole though...

its not all about the size of the fish that makes it a monster ;)

I would say anything over 12" is a monster in an aquarium setting just because most tanks are 18-24 wide. I personally feel though that's it not really the size its more of the fish I mean I considered my comet goldfish a monster when he grew from 3" to like 9" in less then 3 months ..

^ Agreed. After some though I decided over 12" is the most appropriate. (Especially since most fish skip that inbetween and jump straight to being 15", 24' or 30"+)

Any thing over 2 feet. If we say one and a half that opens the door to a lot of cichlids. Now if we talking personality then there is no size and the cichlids are back in the convo.

I would say aditude ! If you have an 8 inch snakehead its still a monster ! I have a good 99-11 inch jag hes a "monster" to my friends. Id say anything that will grow to be over 8 inches if we are judging by size !
