I also did a search before i posted my thread and nothing came up,if i had seen this thread i wouldnt have done mine,but then again its better than countless crappy threads about whats your favourite shoe etc.
Also like you said drg i thought most people keep big fish so there would be more larger tanks than your poll suggests.

Well not everyone frequent the forum and posts. For those that post I would say based on the statistics most people have tanks less than 100g. Honestly, I think 180 is a pretty big tank by most household standards. You have to be obssessed with this hobby to want to go bigger than 180.

1 gal custom desktop, 3gal, 5gal hex, 5 1/2gal, 10gal, 20tall, 20long, 29gal x2, 30gal, 55gal.is curent list used to have 2more 10gal andanother 20tall with another 29.oya and a 110gal. and if anybody knowes what a 15foot round pool that is 4 1/2 foot tall holds got one im making into an in door pond and ive got 1 55gal indoor goldfish pond but it will probly be tund into some kind of bio filter for pond.

The pool holds exactly 5948.62609 gallons.

This is how I got that:
15*12=180 4.5*12=54 --> this puts the dimensions into inches

180/2 --> finds the radius of the pool which is needed to find the pool's volume

90^2(pi) * 54 = 1374132.627 --> this is the volume of the pool in cubic inches.

1374132.627/231=5948.62609 --> there are 231 cubic inches per gallon, so I divided the previous answer by 231 to get the total amount of gallons the pool holds
