What style stand?

I am curious what style you prefer for aquarium stands...black, stained wood, or metal?

I always preferred plain black stands, because I thought it was distracting to make it other colors, but my new stand is oak and I stained it today. It looks really nice!

I like either plain black, or a nice oak stand... both look great to me.

However my new tanks stand is whitewashed and its starting to grow on me.

all of our stand so far but one are all metal. I would like some oak stands though for the tanks in the fish room and in my room so they look like furniture.

I like the stained wood stands the best. Unless you have it built into the wall which is the best of all. Then you can just use rough cut wood for the base, and use a stained wood border on the outside wall.
