stained cherry as in the type of wood? Wood that is stained red looks like crap...

I prefer a lighter stain that brings out the grain of the wood. Not a huge fan of mahogany hued stains, but that's a personal preference.

My stands are metal,made by myself but ive made them look more like furniture as you can see,the doors are kitchen cupboard doors from the local diy place but every thing else i made my self
