#$%# awesome!
looks great!

your need better geos than brasillienesis tho. lol.

thanks! i know, i am just getting started trying to figure out what to stock. the brasillenesis is a little pushy right now. his hump got real swollen when I first put them in but it seems to be going down a little. how agro do these guys get? i've read all sorts of things about them but havn't seen too many first-hand accounts around here. he chases the gymno around but doesn't really bother the satanoperca. i don't really want to give him up because he has so much personality but we'll see...

i was thinking of trying to find some red-head sevrums (japes was hyping them on another thread) but am not too sure how they would mix in.

i'm working on it! don't really know what to use ...black posterboard from arts/craft store??

never used that before.....maybe?

Well most people just run to lowes or home depot and get some black paint. You can also get all black backgrounds from any local pet store.

I have a breeding pair of RTMs in a 90 and I use pool filter sand 50lbs $9.00 mixed with a 5lb bag of black sand. I also use a black background. For lighting I have a 30" double fixture with one atnic and one 50/50 bulb. Decorations are a tangel of driftwood on one side with a flat rock underneath they spawn on. They will move things around to suit their needs. It's a very cool look.

Yeah it looks fantastic. I think it looks kinda cool without the black background, post pics up when you get the background on.
