what synodontis is this?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I'm leaning more towards the ocellifer. Speaking of Petsmart, I just saw yesterday that the had some 1/2" syno's labeled as Decorus x Multipunctatus hybrid. They looked like regular Decorus to me. And they wanted $19.99 for those tiny little boogers!! :WHOA::WHOA:

Adipose fin is way to small to be S ocelifer, but think its a hybrid of them :)

I was leaning towards ocelifer, but I've been seeing more hybrids these days.

He looks just like mine. I've been trying to identify mine too because he has outgrown my African cichlid tank - he doesn't fit in any of the crevices or caves anymore - and I'd like to sell him. Can't sell something I can't name though.

i tried to get pictures last time i was home, but i wasnt able to use MY camera. had to use a different one and the pics didnt come out. So ill try again soon.

i wish, that would have been easy and i wouldnt have bought it to begin with. pretty sure these are some new hybrid thats popped up recently. Probably mixed with an S. ocel.

Ok so i finally got a decent picture of mine. Still not a terrific shot, but i had to trick him to get a pic of him, as you see the cube of blood worms in the back.

Looks to be a hybrid, was this the one you was hoping to be S longirostris?
These hybrids look like a ocellifer x eupterus but im sure in time it will come out what they are.
