What tank size for these fish?

5 is a good number, but 8-10 is better. 20 is better again!

6' length minimum, width isn't as important really, 18" wide would be ok, but 2' would be better. Try set the filters up to create a good current in the tank too.

I love watching my loaches play in the current. I Have an aqua clear 70 power head. And my crazy little guys will swim sideways Into the current and get blown half way across the tank and then do it again! All 3 of them just chasing each other lol!

Thank you all for the input ^^ I like the clown loaches. When I first got them they seemed shy but now they run the full length of the tank. They're real little right now and I can't wait to watch them grow. My LFS has a six incher but he's alone in the tank and doesn't do much. Do they get lazy with age or was he acting that way because he wasn't comfortable without a shoal? On that note, I have a VERY shy green texas. He hides all day and night whether I have the lights on or not and when he is out when he sees me he goes back to hiding. Any tips for that? He's very pretty and I'd like to see him once in a while lol
