What temp do you keep your mixed CA/SA cichlid tank at?

Actually just for the record I feel compelled to bring up, higher temps can prevent outbreaks of Ich.

quarantining your fish properly can prevent outbreaks of ich too. Ich just doesn't pop up randomly, it comes from an outside source. Warmer temps will shorten the lifespan of ich though.

I keep my tanks at 75-82* and some as low as 71* (no heaters.) If I could afford the electricity I would keep all my tanks at 82-84*.

i keep mines in the fam room in the bassement, no heater in tank, temp range from 61 to 64 in the winter to about 67 or 70 in the summer

I keep it around 79...if they get a bit rough to each other, I lower it for a few days.
