Keeping the temp low is another reason people say they grow slow and have problems getting them to eat different foods

Higher temp 84-86 and they will feed more

75 in the winter and 85 in the summer. Basically room temp and I have my heater set to 75 so it can't get colder than that.

Are you expecting your fish to put more clothes on in the winter?

I set mine at 85. My discus/clown loach tank is at 87.

I'm a cheap SOB I actually do water changes with straight tap water....... no additives/prime, nothing, but straight tap water, yuk.

I know, sometimes I get the heebe jeebies just thinking about it.

a month ago my tank was reading 80, the last month its been reading 78. gotta get a sump going, with a sump my heater reads higher.
