What the best bigger fish to start with I be using a pool pond

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I be also setting up a tank to raise my own feeders when I give them live food
Nice. What are you thinking? Tilapia? I hear they breed easily and grow super fast.

I have jewel cichlids right now for that. They are great parents so you get a good return for each batch. I tried guppies before but they were too slow, eat their own babies, and even after they are full sized they are barely a morsel for anything over 3”

Thinking guppies when there small but when they get bigger prob tilapia
If I could save you some time(that I spent) skip guppies and do either jewel cichlids or black convicts. Both are gregarious breeders and you will end up with, more and bigger sized feeders. You can often find breeding pairs for really cheap. I bought mine for $15. And I think they are nicer to watch than guppies.

I was also thinking putting a clown knife fish in as well but I want keep it where all fish get along

I got the dimensions wrong to, I think that you have so many options, lots of people don’t like this idea but how about make it a rescue pond and take in fish that get to big for peoples tanks. If not then I would go for a reigon pond with fish that come from the same place, it depends on what you like. A jardini community pond with big catfish on the pond
