What the F is growing in my discus tank?!?!

OKay so a couple days ago i noticed this like bubbly junk growing on my plants and whatnot. I tried to take some pics for you to see. Is this stuff bad how do i get rid of it?

What kind of insect eggs? when i break it up its like this lacy flakes all over. Any other help, will this harm my fish? thanks
 
Not sure what is on the plant, but the second pic looks like rotting fish pellets, that have like a fuzzy fungus on it.
 
Very interesting. No idea what it is, but I'd say it isn't dangerous to discus: If it grows on plants - it shouldn't be able to grow on fish. Guppy or Oddball or someone will know.
 
the first picture MAY be snail eggs but they usually dont lay them on the stem like that. the second picture is un eaten food rotting.
 
Wow thanks for youre feedback everyone. Now that you say that it makes sense. I dont know where snails coulda come from but i did see a little tiny snail like thing crawling on a leaf. I guess i'll just clean as much out as i can and feed them less food so this doesnt happen...
 
Also, i just took the plant out that this stuff was mainly on, IT SMELLED AWFUL!!! what is that all about?
