What the F is growing in my discus tank?!?!

The second photo definettly looks like fungus to me. I once forgot to remove the uneaten pellets I was forcing my GT to eat, and when I checked the next morning they looked exactly like that.

Yes it was definatlety uneaten food. I always make sure to remove as much of what they dont eat as i can now and this doesnt happen now...
