Thanks. My plan is to try n keep him but it's up to the shop. Im sure no one would over pay for a sick/injured fish either

I'm confused you purchased the fish from the shop , you saw what he looked like before your purchase.. now your going to take him back and say what? After 2 weeks was it?
" because I don't know what Im doing. I bought an injured fish from you . Thinking I had a deal ,because i assumed you didnt know what you where selling? however now I want a refund and/or reduction in price?"

Great, now this turns into a "Bash Thread" Lol...
Read my post again Mr.Sucker (pleco, something). Obviously it's more than YOUR common fish store...

Another Q... Is there any way to heal him?

i'd just keep him, remember that the shop has no obligation to give you any money or to even accept the fish back.

I would keep it. It deserves better luck.

You should definitely keep him. I have an oscar with a bashed face that a guy gave me. I feel sorry for him so I want to take good care of him cause he had a crap life before me.

I totally agree and hear you guys. I also understand I did not inspect him like I should have. So there's 1 thing that get me...

I was told me some tanks crashed a couple weeks b4 I went. I had all my attention on the smaller Juru on the other side on the shop n was told take both for ____.___ He also does not sell fish that are sick (I totally give him that!!) n was told all fish in the shop are fine... Looked at the big Juru n said "bag him". So, I feel a little "did in" on the sale you know. In the end, i know we will work something out though, we are cool n do lots of bizz together :D

I'm cool with keeping him, I like Oddball stuff n my gosh... He's an Oddball haha.

So is there a way to help him heal?? Or that's his new permanent look?

Yes it can recover I've seen them worse then that (although yours in on the bad side of the scale) and they can indeed make a full recovery if given correct water conditions.
Correct water conditions are difficult to achieve however and 99.8% of Juri's die in captivity long before their 20+ year lifespan.
