Most of what I've heard suggests a salt dip for the infected fish, though I'm not sure how a Ray would handle that.

sorry but those are fish lice or argulus. and they are big. those little creatures eat by piercing the fish skin and the damage of the skin will cause infections. next time pay attention on your fish.
