Just to add to the story, cleaned out the tank and noticed the level of these guys going down. . . but at any given time I can usually see one or two of them on the glass.
I went out and did my monthly fish shopping and picked up a "Jade File Fish". They are supposed to be a little difficult to initiate feeding at first. To my pleasure though, after about 2 minutes of being in the tank it was hunting down and picking these worms off the glass. I hope this keeps up.
btw: jade file fish = slowest moving fish I have ever owned.
