my brothers betta is kept in a 35 gallon tank with 3 south american pufferfish, and some cardianl and black nean tetras. the thing is always swimming around enjoying himself, and when i see bettas in bowls i kinda feel bad for them.

This is just out of control. I read something yesterday that said they had also put them into the outer layer of purses! These poor fish are capitalized on as ornaments and not living things, we should put these people in a 5x5 box for a few weeks without a toilet to see how they like it.......

WTF. That is CRUEL! An ipod is only maybe 3/8 of an inch thick. A betta has to be atleast 1/8 of an inch thick. That is barely enough width to hold the betta. Dont get me started on length of that thing. Do they think that the betta is not going to get vibrations from the sound. I have always been told that tapping on aquariums can cause fish to become deaf, I have no idea what this could do!

Bettas don't need alot of water to live, but that is not even close. I don't think that that "tank" has room for the betta to breathe.
