What the hell is this?

I guess this is sort of snakehead. It mixed in among feederfishes. I didn't care about it at the beginning, and think it should be eaten in few days. However, it grew into a 7 incher in two weeks. Looks like it'll grow out to be a monster. So, can anyone tell me what snakehead it is? I have to deal with it before it's a monster.

Just from a regular LFS which I get the feederfishes all the time. Anyway, could it be striata? Striata or melanoptera, whatever, I know there is no space for both in my tanks......

I think its striata, but I have seen them only in the asia,arket, frozen, or on my table cooked;-)

must be 1-2 cm wen brought in as a feeder...and u saying it grew into a 7 inch in 3 weeks? lol

looks striata to me also , but again i have not kept this species ,only seen photos so could not be 100% on that , dont think its melanoptera head shape is wrong for that, and markings on side are also wrong

its striata, it can grow up to 2 ft in wild. i think u should buy a qua for it
