I am gonna have a 29g sump with LR,chaeto, sand bed. Marineland 100 PS and a CPR Aquafuge Refugium with protein skimmer. I would like a SFE and maybe a large angel or two....possibly tangs or triggers instead of angels. Pretty much the eel and a few big guys and thats it.

Sounds let a good filtration setup.

While a tang and trigger would be ok(still stretching it long term), I would not get an angel let alone two for a setup like this. Large angels need 180 gallon plus tanks to live for life. A dwarf angel would be a much better choice for a 75.

I would feel much better about keeping a lionfish in a 75 than most tangs and all large angels because lionfish don't move around a lot, they just get big. Angels and Tangs swim around constantly and need the space to thrive.

75 can house some of the smaller lionfish species for life, and a volitan for an extended period of time. Wouldnt be a bad choice, I did it for a long time.
