Just got done with my 75 gallon stand and got it up on it and it is uneven. It is about .25” off in one of the corners to the point where you can kind of rock it like when a table has a shorter leg. It is the tank that moves, not the stand. Should I put something under a corner to even it out? Or will the water weight even it out? Thanks

thats a big gap. I do not see it relaxing. I would redo the that corner to be square. Off topic a bit the 2 screws and the knot just needs a smile to be a face.

remove the screws and shim the leg and re-screw.

be easier just to go to a good will and by a table top dresser. used them on all my 75g to 90g tanks.

Just built this thing lol trying to keep it as cheap as possible. You think a wood shim would be okay or would it cause it to crack?

its only a 75g rimed tank should be able to shim fine.

I'm with pops pops on this, you need to redo that leg. I wouldn't shim though, I'd buy another 2x4 (they're what $3?) and just remake that leg to the appropriate length to take up the gap. Nothing wrong with a shim mind you, this is simply how I'd do it.

agreed.

So you wouldn’t trust this? Lol. I may try to sand it down and see what I can do.
