its basically what i did. going to keep him in my 75g for now since its extremely over-filtered, and the fish are only 3-4" max, and extremely docile. eventually will move to my 250g since im leaning to changing that to be an oscar only tank. i figure if a tank of 7-8 different kind of oscars dont keep me happy, nothing will
little worried about the BGK and the CK together, but i know from the get-go its a chance, yet ive seen a few posts from people claiming that they can co-exist.
Honestly it gets better after maybe a week and after two weeks its just a bad memory.I just had a $8 featherfin catfish demolish a whole shoal of clown loaches that were between 4"-7" in the two days I was in the hospital.
I tried to put them in an out of the way location thinking it would be cool if nature did its work and I was left with some loach skeletons to remember them by but I underestimated the stench and then had to really say good bye to my loaches.
Hope you don't quite the hobby. The only thing that made me consider actually leaving the hobby was not knowing what to put into my tank, having tried just about everything and getting bored with it.I figured something out for my tank but otherwise I would have sold my setup.
