I thought about it but if I'm doing feeders I'd rather go the Molly livebearer rout. I know the fry yield is much lower and less frequent but it would be something different. Plus I could still do somewhat of a community with livebearers

As nice as neets are I'm trying to avoid cichlids for this tank. So back to puffers, can dwarf species share a tank with livebearers or will the live bearers be at risk of puffer agression?

I believe dwarf puffers can be nippy, so it might not work so well with live bearers. I'll let someone with actual experience with dwarfs chime in.

I thought that would be the case. I had thought on exodons but they need to be kept in somewhat dense number to avoid ripping each other apart and I don't know if the 29 is sufficient for a school. Is it?
