Ameivas.

That one's a male, females won't have the blue. Very cool lizards, true hunters, like a miniature tegu.

i had one a while back. got him from a friend who was moving. very very interesting.

Ok I'm actually really thinking about getting an ameivas. How much do they usually cost? I'm gonna start doing some research on them

They're not all that expensive, you can likely find one for $20 or so. Bad part is they are generally wild-caught, but they seem to come in pretty healthy...a lot of ameivas on the market are collected in south Florida where they've established themselves. The one in the pic is a green ameiva, the other one you will see for sale pretty regularly is the tiger ameiva, but I've never had those.
