hey everybody, I have an empty 180 (6X2X2) and have no idea what to put in it. I need some suggestions. I want some interesting fish, but I dont want to have the same fish as everybody else. Right now, the only fish I have is a 6" oxyeleotris marmorata (basically a water cow but grows larger). I don't want dats or arowanas, they just seem too common to me. I was thinking a ray or two, but that takes up almost no tank space. HELP PLEASE!! thanks

I would do a Red Terror. Maybe a flowerhorn?

Thanks for the suggestion, but im not really into flowerhorns or red terrors to be honest. Sorry to be so picky haha. What do you guys think of lemon oscars? What other morphs would you suggest? (attractive and not dyed)I'm thinking a lemon(or other morph)oscar, a fire eel, a teacup stingray, my marbled goby, and...???? Do you think these would be alright together? if so, still open for more suggestions on tankmates. thanks again!

Something different you say? How about an electric eel? Saw a baby at a local fish store, it's awesome!!

you mentioned oscars, but how about a somewhat more uncommon alternative in some Paratilapia, which have similar personalities, but have a more unique look to them

Thanks for all the suggestions! I have a pretty good idea of what I want for bottom dwellers. I am thinking a reticulated stingray, a few clown loaches, a fire eel, and an ornate bichir for starters. What do you guys think about these fish getting along? I'm still open for suggestions on mid-level and top swimmers. Thanks!

I don't know if they would get along with your current stock list but beautiful large african cichlid predators like....
