what to do with a 6gal??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
It's perfectly fine for saltwater as long as you keep the parameters up through frequent water changes as well as top it off daily (if not multiple times daily). Others, including myself, have succeeded with far smaller aquariums, so you should be fine.

I have a four gallon nano that I'm working on now, and everything is going well thanks to good maintenance practices. I have a small yellow prawn goby in there along with two dwarf blue leg hermit crabs, and I'll be adding some corals, a clam, a shrimp, and maybe some snails if need be once I get the coralline algae growing good.

Betta fish, pea puffer, grow brine shrimp for food for other fish, keep as hospital tank for something really small, etc.

My LFS has a couple small fish that stay under an inch. You can do a school of them with a simple setup.

Or you could set it up with decor, a plant, etc and just tell people it's an invisible fish.

Crawfish get 12 inches ive seen a 8
