What to do with a 8x4x4 inclosure?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Hei from mass here to,nice size enclosure, monitor, tegu or caiman lizard. Soloman island skink, or those giant geckos.....Leachies there it it!!!Good luck with your choice.Argus, peach throat for now at least....

I think we need to ask some other questions first.
What is the design of this enclosure?
What kind of experience do you have with reptiles?
Can you afford a high heating bill and food bill for a large creature/cage?
What would you like to have?

A reptile of the size many people have suggested is a very large commitment and should not be taken lightly, there are many factors that go into the decision of what animal fits you best other then "what animal can fit in the tank?"
So please take everything into consideration before you get too deep.

Agreed, we need more info before we can really make any good suggestions.

Argentine B&W tegu!

I want to build an 8'x4'x4' so I can get one next summer. I've been looking into them for a couple years now.

You could also turn it on its side, fill it with plants and branches and get a green tree python or emerald tree boa. If the design permits.
