What to do with fish that get to large?

I do not own or intend to own a Huge fish I cannot house. I just was wondering what YOU would do or have done with the fish YOU keep. Or an idea of what YOU would do if you grew a fish to large to be kept in your home anymore.

Soi'll ask again what do you do if you have a fish that you knew would outgrow your tank but you decided to buy it anyway. And when it got to the point that it was to large you had to do something. What would that something be.

First of all I would never own a fish that would outgrow my tank so hypothetically I would agree with some of the other posters.

That is interesting. I also always wondered how zoos and aquariums got the fish they have. No way could they raise them all from youths. I figured, like everything else, its not as simple as what the zoo wants. There are plenty of people that probably have say on what comes and goes. I always thought it would be fun to work at an aquarium, but I bet its not really as much fun as I think it would be...

you dont do anything with the fish because if you cant house them as adults you dont buy them in the first place
