What to do with fish you don't want

Here's a link of how to set up a natural planted tank. I just use cheap top soil sold at walmart or lowe's. Cover that with a layer of gravel or sand. Works great for me, and not as expensive as the flourite.

This says you don't have to use a filter, but I still do, just in case. I also don't follow the "one water change every 6 months" thing either...sounds terribly bad for "old tank syndrome" when the water change does come around. I do 20-25% weekly.

I have 3 bags of Flourite. My lights weren't strong enough so the plants all died but I still used the Flourite as substrate. They were on sale when I bought them and I also work at Petsmart so I get 15% off and it still wasn't cheap. Just saying.

I know a person who donated a large pacu to an LFS and the employees there assured him that the fish will be sold and go to a good home with a large tank. After the person who donated the fish left the store, the employees put the pacu in a large garbage bag with no water and dumped it in the garbage can. The person who donated the fish was heart broken after he found out.

You can put an ad in craigslist and there are a lot of people who want free fishes.

I saw what you wrote before. That's damn crazy. Borderline evil.

Yeah, that. Just curious how the person who donated the fish found out about it.

The person came back to the store later, and a store employee told him.

Yea, I had to edit it because I know people would be mad so I decided to change it.
