What to do with my FM and JD?

I wouldn't do convicts for two reasons.

1.) They get bigger then firemouths

2.) Your Jd might try to breed with a female convict and thats a whole new set of aggression

male JD should be fine. just do not get any female it can bread with in the tank. females are little s&*$s.

Thanks. I'm hoping he will, as the JD as a fish in general has really grown on me. I love how they look when they're adults.

Yeah, I'm actually just going to give it time. I'll leave it as it is and hope for the best.
