What to do with my new tank?

I like German Blue Rams better. Much prettier.
Cherry barbs are not fins nippers,IME. Get all males. They much brighter than females. They add lots of color to a tank.

no the rams should leave the tetras alone.
rams would be a great addition to a small community, very colourful and peaceful. even when breeding they are pretty mellow.

I would try rams, tetras, and maybe a clown pleco or two. I think the rams and some tetras do best at a slighter higher temp than most cory cats prefer. JMO! You could also try some thread fin rainbow fish.
Are cardinal tetras more hardier then neons? And would two rams work (one male one female) Or do I need a 1:2 ratio? There would only be one male in the tank.
IME, there really isn't much of a difference between cardinals and neons besides their appearance. I have never owned rams before, but I would think they'd be fine kept in a pair.ScubaChick0121;4000563; said:
